Update on the homegoods shipment

As of last week, there was still some confusion as to where my stuff could possibly be, with the African shipper claiming no knowledge.

I sent an email to everyone thanking them for their assistance, and telling them that I’m highly invested in getting this settled as I’m traveling at the end of the month.

This morning, I received a call from the Ugandan receiver; the reason that the African shipper had no knowledge of the shipment is that he never received it – it went to another shipping company.  Hallelujah!  And no, I’m not going to ask about how that happened.

So, my stuff is in Mombasa (Kenya, on the coast with the Indian Ocean), and hopefully, it’s on its way soon.
