Through a series of “Who’s on First”-type conversations within the cohort, we’ve resolved the language issue: we will take Hebrew I and II this year, and Greek I and II next. That’s quite a relief… so now I’m off to conquer the Hebrew alphabet (well, when I originally wrote this…). So that means that Hebrew II (and Greek II) will be in the January semester… after I’ve been off the September semester. So if you see me writing letters from right to left and repeating them under my breath, please don’t worry.
Sadly, it’s taking much more than an Abbott and Costello bit to resolve the network issues here. Apparently one can only be assigned to one wireless network. I’m sure the IT guys are quite tired of seeing me. I think my only hope is to switch my access point to the dining hall and brave the mosquitoes in the early morning. We shall see how long this connection in the dorm lasts.
