First assignment

May 26, 2009

In our Introduction to the Old Testament class, we’re still working through the primevial history. Today we even ventured into Genesis 3. But I digress. We were were working through creation, and got to the seventh day, the day God rested. The lecturer asked what does it mean for God to rest. We don’t know if this was planned or spontaneous, but our assignment is to discuss what we understand by “God rested on the seventh day” and explain what this means in our human life in three pages.

While this is an individual paper, we are to discuss amongst ourselves, our friends, and do research. Please feel free to discuss amongst yourselves here. : ) Though we have a fortnight to complete the paper, I’ll have it done by the end of next week (because we will be discussing in both the study group and the M. Div. fellowship).
