I still can’t believe I’m home…
I won’t even check on grades until the end of September, but I’m so curious to know how I did on the exams!
And as for the Ugandan birthday dousing… it didn’t happen! Jackson was threatening to the end to do it, and I told our friend Zipporah about it. Apparently, she told Jackson that if he hurt me he’d be torturing her, so he had a change of heart. Who’d’ve thunk?
While I was saying good-bye to everyone, they were wishing me a happy Christmas and happy new year’s. Now, I realize I won’t see them during those holidays (and New Year’s is exceptionally big there), and appreciate their being thorough, but isn’t August a little early for that?
Hello everyone – I know Jessica is soon back on her way to you all but as I note her site, I don't see much of an update while she was back here in the States. She showed us all lots of pictures and stories of the many friends and fine people she has in you all.
I wanted to share with you all some of my thoughts on Jessica's brief but VERY significant stay with us during her semester break.
Jessica rejoined her business here and was immediately put to work on one of the most important projects every attempted by this company in it's entire history (95 years). She was better than just great at what she contributed – she was critical and arrived for us almost like a miracle – just at the right time!! We could not have asked for anything better. In just her short time back, Jessica warmed us all with her great heart and generous nature and of course, incredible skills. We are already missing her very much but also are happy she is back working on her dream and with friends again! Please take good care of her. In the custom of my country: I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
Greg

PTL for Jackson's change of heart! It was great seeing you on Sunday. May our Lord bless you with good grades. Kae
