The best quotes came on Friday

March 7, 2010

“Jessica, be serious!”  I mean, really.  I don’t hear that one too often.  I about fell apart laughing.  This came from my friend Tom, in the lunch line, because I didn’t know the population of the US off the top of my head.  As of July 2009, it was 307,006,550.

“You people have got to tell me these things!”  Me, after our lecturer on Friday told us that Monday is International Women’s Day.  No one tells me when the national holidays are.  I find this particularly tragic, as there are no classes on national holidays, so I would love to know when they arrive.  But the class was one in which we are combined with the BD I class, so there were 50 of us in the room, and everyone laughed, including the lecturer.
